Camille Saint Saens is a composer (a person who writes music).
He was born in France. (check out cia factbook)
When he was a child he played the piano and he loved to write his own songs.
When he turned 13 years old he went to a conservatory (a special school) to learn more about music. While he was there he learned to play the organ and people say that he was the best in the world!
He wrote a lot of music for the orchestra.
In class we are learning about a song he wrote called Danse Macabre. (you can hear the song on wikipedia.) It begins very soft and low, but the sound builds and gets louder and faster. It is a great piece of music!
Camille Saint Saens once said, " I live in music like a fish lives in water." What do you think he meant by that?

he meant when fish live in water thay are happy when they are out of it then they die thats what would happen to him if he cant play music

What Camille Saint Saen meant by music lives in me like a fish live in water is that music is his life if he don't do any more music he got nothing eles to do. And I just puting this out my dad os moving next week and I'm sooooo happy I put 3 p's that's how exc. I am!!!
